Small turnout today. Jackie. Elaine and a big welcome and thank you to Janet North.

We cleared the weeds and debris from the path joining the Rose and Bowl to Holy Trinity school.

No Sheldon today because it's his birthday and he is enjoying a well deserved breakfast at All On Board

Today Elaine worked at the foot of the Butterfly garden pulling out weeds and rubbish..Sheldon was at the Rec where most of our work this year has taken place, he did some trimming around the benches and picked up a ridiculous amount of litter

Team today Amanda, Clare, Sheldon. Joe, Sue, Tre, Cara and Anwyn. Between them they planted and watered 9 fruit bushes- golden raspberries, cherries, blackcurrants and plum, weeded the veg and herb beds and tidied the path by the football pitch

Lovely walk this afternoon with a duck race at the start (well done Christine Lamb for winning!) and delicious soup at All on Board at the end

Funded by the Commonwealth Games grant from Pride in Place through Rossendale Borough Council and supported by Rossendale Radio

We started with 30 people but half got distracted by the entertainment in Waterfoot and we never saw them again 😝 😂

But the weather was perfect and a good time was had by all !

Thanks to Sheldon for leading a lovely walk around the valley and thanks to All on Board for well earned refreshments
Young Amelia was very useful selling extra ducks to passing people.
