Wallacetown Community Energy Project Launch
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who joined us for the launch of the The Wallacetown Community Energy Project
Your presence meant a great deal, not just to the Association, but to the wider community whose ambition and determination made this project possible.
The event marked far more than the installation of solar panels. It represented partnership in action — community leadership supported by government, industry and dedicated professionals working together to deliver meaningful change.
To our funders, partners, elected members, officers, project team, school leaders and pupils — thank you for your belief, your support and your commitment throughout this journey.
Seeing the plaques presented to our young people before being handed to their Head Teachers was a powerful reminder of what this project is truly about: investing in the next generation and demonstrating that communities like Wallacetown can lead from the front in Scotland’s Net Zero journey.
The warmth in the room, the pride on display and the conversations that followed reinforced something important — this is not the end of a project, but the continuation of a partnership.
Thank you again for being part of this milestone moment.
With appreciation,
Alan Roseweir on behalf of the Fort Seafield and Wallacetown Community Association and the Wallacetown Community Energy Project
