We're delighted to launch the new Crossroads South Ayrshire blog, giving us a way to share more of what's happening behind the scenes, celebrate the people who make our work possible, and keep our community up to date.

💙 Fancy doing something that actually makes a difference? 💙

We’re on the lookout for Bank Staff - Care Attendants to join Crossroads (South Ayrshire)… and this isn’t your typical care role.
This is about spending proper time with people—having a chat, going a wee outing, keeping someone company—while giving their usual carer a really important break.

It’s meaningful, it’s personal, and it matters more than you can imagine 💛

✨ Visits are a minimum of 2 hours, so you can build real connections—not just pop in and out

What we’re looking for:

- Kind, caring people (the most important bit!)
- Reliable & flexible
- Good communicators
- Some care experience preferred
- Willing to work towards SVQ Level 2 if you don’t already have it

If you’ve ever thought about getting into care—or just want to do something genuinely rewarding—this could be right up your street 😊

What a way to end the week!

Thanks to Rotary Club of Ayr Inc & M L Williams Funeral Directors for choosing us as your event’s charity!

Our annual sponsorship for the Rotary Club of Ayr Inc golf day took place today, the winners of the day were Stranraer Rotary Club, who happily took a picture with founder Mike Williams, Funeral Director Chris Letford and Funeral Manager Pauline Ower. 👏🏆

Crossroads South Ayrshire Care Attendant Scheme are the worthy chosen charity of todays event.
