“This storybook is about love, families and friendship; but fundamentally, it’s a reminder to us all, that you’re never too old for a bear…”

Meet Lorraine Johnston - Writer of our brand new gift book ‘A Bear Called AH!’ 🧸

“I had an idea, but it wasn’t one of my regular-sized ideas; it was a great BIG one…

I wanted to bring together a team of 12 professional artists, each creating one illustration plate to represent each page of the story.

Before long, ‘Team Bear’ was formed: a wonderful group of talented, kind, and passionate artists, each generously gifting their time and paintings to this unique gift book.

They have been wonderful throughout the process. They were also incredibly kind and gracious about the many ‘bossy instructions’ I have become infamous for dishing out!”

Lorraine will be in our Gargowan Gifts shop for a special book signing of 'A Bear Called AH!' on Friday 18th September, 11am-1pm. We hope to see you then 💜
