Weāre not sure everyone realises that Bfriend is a charity and we rely heavily on grants and charitable funding to keep our service running.
For 30 years, weāve quietly got on with our work in the background, creating experiences and building relationships that make a huge difference in children and young people's lives. We havenāt always been good at shouting about everything we doā¦but we think itās time that changed.
Grants arenāt guaranteed, and we would love more local people, community groups and businesses to get involved in helping us continue this work. Thatās why weāre getting ready to launch our new "Friends of Bfriend" fundraising campaign! š
Over the coming months, weāll be making a bit more noise about our work, sharing more of our impact and showing just how much goes into keeping our service going.
Weāll be sharing lots of fun and simple ideas for how you, your workplace or your business could raise money for Bfriend - from dress-down days and sponsored challenges to coffee mornings, raffles and choosing us as your Charity of the Year.
No amount raised is ever too small. Every donation helps us create more opportunities, happy memories and supportive relationships for local children and young people.
