👋 Let us introduce ourselves to new followers and residents.

We’re Working for Wallacetown and our focus is simple. We want to be present, approachable and genuinely useful to the people who live here. That’s why you’ll often see us out in the community during our Days of Action. These days give us the chance to speak with people in places that feel natural and comfortable.

No pressure. No appointments. Just real conversations.

The support we offer covers a wide range of things: We can talk through financial concerns, Help people find social opportunities, Point them towards the right wellbeing services, Offer guidance on housing matters, Listen to worries about anti social behaviour and plenty more. Every conversation is different because every person is different.

Well done team

A huge thank you to the Police Scotland Youth Volunteers who joined us to lead today’s litter pick across George Street, Elba Street, Macadam Place and Elba Gardens. Their effort and commitment made a real difference to the area 💜

Special thanks as always for giving up your time to get involved. It really doesn’t go unnoticed.

This marks the start of our spring clean-up campaign, helping to brighten up our streets and make people feel better about where they live. If you are interested in getting involved as well go send us a message and join us for next time 🤝
