What an incredible time at our Kids Multi-Sports Easter Camp! 🐣⚽🏀

From start to finish, the energy, enthusiasm, and smiles were nonstop. Every child brought their own spark, making each session fun, positive, and full of great moments.
It was an absolute joy to coach such a fantastic group — the kids were a delight, showing great teamwork, effort, and willingness to try new things. So proud of every single one of them! 🙌

A massive thank you to all the amazing coaches and everyone behind the scenes who helped make it all happen — your hard work and support made this camp truly special! 💛

Also a special thanks to K:A Leisure , North Ayrshire Active Schools and GolPhin for all the help and support, you’ve helped make our Easter camp of 2026 amazing for all the children 💪

Already looking forward to the next one!☀️

Bringing senior and junior golfers together, a celebration of all that’s great about golf. Sharing experiences, great conversations wandering down the fairways, learning from all the good and not so good shots and making friendships that will last a lifetime.
Our inaugural JKH Howie Generations Trophy seniors v juniors team match played over the beautiful Ayrshire links of West Kilbride GC, brought together the very best of juniors and seniors.
Supported by GolPhin, Mind Body Golf, Scottish Junior Sports and Health Trust, Scottish Seniors Golf Society, Junior Tour Scotland and host club West Kilbride… we all had a brilliant day whilst celebrating the joys of the greatest game.
Well know Scottish golfer Alan Tait generously offered his time to announce the players on the first tee, this year victors were The Juniors, winning 3.5 to 1.5 Points.
Congratulations to Junior Tour Scotland team Captain Carly McDonald who at the age of 14 is sporting a handicap of plus 4 and led her team to an emphatic victory. Amazing golfer and lovely young person, a real credit to Junior Tour Scotland and her family.
Hats off to Paul Gibson who runs the Junior Tour Scotland. Great bunch of respectful, polite and talented young people
👏👏👏.
Not to be undone, us slightly older golfers from the Scottish Seniors Golf Society look forward to next year’s match already.

🎄 Merry Christmas from everyone at The Scottish Junior Sport and Health Trust 🎄

We’d like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and a fantastic New Year along with a huge thank you for everything you have done this year.

2025 has been a brilliant year, allowing us to offer a wide range of activities and opportunities for children and young people to get active, build confidence and enjoy sport.

We’re already looking ahead with excitement to an even bigger 2026, with more programmes, more opportunities and even more young people enjoying the benefits of sport and physical activity.

Thank you for being part of our journey — see you in the New Year!

One of our key initiatives is the continued growth of golf coaching in schools.

We introduce primary school children to the basics of golf through fun, engaging lessons delivered by our knowledgeable coaches.

We also work with secondary schools, where our coaches train older pupils to deliver sessions to primary school children. This not only helps them develop valuable coaching skills but also enables them to share their enjoyment of golf with younger learners.
