World Homeless Day | 10 October

Home means something different to all of us.

It's the place where we feel safe, where we belong, and where we can simply be ourselves.

Today, we reflect on those in our communities who don't have that security and those facing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Behind every situation is a person. Someone's parent, child, friend, neighbour, or colleague.

At SeAscape, we see the courage it takes to ask for help and the strength it takes to start again. We also see the difference that compassion, understanding and support can make.

Nobody should have to face homelessness alone.

Together, we can help create stronger communities and brighter futures for everyone 💙

Do you know someone looking for support when it comes to their phone, laptop or tablet? Marc will be here to help with any digital difficulties (no repairs). He will be hosting FREE drop ins sessions at the Connect Ayr & Prestwick Hubs as well as getting out and about with free community drop in sessions at local libraries and public spaces.

Alcohol Awareness week is running from 6th to 12th July and this years theme is “Alcohol & Me”

To mark the week please see details of an event on Friday by Council on Alcohol & Alcohol Change, kindly supported by Beastie Brews Coffee Shop (located at Ayr beach opposite the County Buildings gardens and up from the Reel Plaice fish & chip shop)

If you're concerned that you or someone you know is drinking above low risk guidelines or would like a bit more information on what this means why not pop in for an informal chat and sample some mocktails by the sea!
