Just a reminder that there is an opportunity to attend a CAP Workshop focusing on managing finances, tommorow Wednesday 19 August from 2-4 pm (including a break for coffee/cake) please see image below for more details

Hope everyone is having a great summer so far, while the clubs are off until September they are a few things over the next few weeks:

☕️🚶REMINDER Coffee Buddies/Walking Group is every alternative Thursday
Walking group next meet is 31st July
Morrisons is 6th August

💜We are having a catch up night on Wednesday 12th August from 6 - 8.30 which all our members are invited to attend. There will be no charge, unfortunately we cannot provide transport on this day

DRAMA GROUP: Thursday 25 June when they will be performing Alison in Wonderland at 8 - all welcome to come and see the show🎭

The coffee buddies and walking group will still meet every other week throughout the summer: Coffee buddies this Thursday 11th June 🚶☕️

💜Thursday Groups🩵

We have decided to start our fortnightly walking group on Thursday 23rd April, as we are expecting some nice weather this week 🤞

The walking group will meet at Wellington Square at 2 and then have coffee in the Chatterbox at the top of Wellington Square. This will be alternate Thursdays to our usual coffee buddies.

Please note that the bowling is now finished.

💜WORKSHOP OPPERTUNITY 🩵

Gary, who is the membership and participation manager at head office is running a voter information workshop for our members, with Scottish parliament election on 7th May.

ENABLE have been asked by the Electoral Commission to give people with learning disabilities information about their right to vote. Workshop:

THURSDAY 23rd APRIL
7:30-8:30
SUTHERLAND HOUSE

The workshop would be simple and informal. He will bring copies of Enable’s Easy Read voting guide and would also talk about:

➡️why voting matters
➡️how to register to vote
➡️how to vote on the day
➡️what to expect at the polling station
answering any questions people have
➡️Taking a group photo with people who would like to be in one.

Due to the weather not being good after the first sunny spell 🌦️ we have decided to continue with the indoor bowling at Sutherland house on:
Thursday 9th & 23rd April 2026

The walking group will hopefully start fortnightly on Thursday 7th May 2026🚶
