Just a reminder that Coffee Buddies will meet tommorow at Home bargains cafe in Ayr (next to Morrisons ) due to it being closed temporarily. Usual time of 2-3pm☺️

💜Thursday Groups🩵

We have decided to start our fortnightly walking group on Thursday 23rd April, as we are expecting some nice weather this week 🤞

The walking group will meet at Wellington Square at 2 and then have coffee in the Chatterbox at the top of Wellington Square. This will be alternate Thursdays to our usual coffee buddies.

Please note that the bowling is now finished.

💜WORKSHOP OPPERTUNITY 🩵

Gary, who is the membership and participation manager at head office is running a voter information workshop for our members, with Scottish parliament election on 7th May.

ENABLE have been asked by the Electoral Commission to give people with learning disabilities information about their right to vote. Workshop:

THURSDAY 23rd APRIL
7:30-8:30
SUTHERLAND HOUSE

The workshop would be simple and informal. He will bring copies of Enable’s Easy Read voting guide and would also talk about:

➡️why voting matters
➡️how to register to vote
➡️how to vote on the day
➡️what to expect at the polling station
answering any questions people have
➡️Taking a group photo with people who would like to be in one.
