We’re back to introduce the final group of wonderful stallholders joining us at our Charity Ladies Day on Saturday 24th October at Lochgreen House Hotel!

We’ve gathered a lovely mix of small businesses, all bringing something special along for you to browse and shop on the day. It’s a great opportunity to discover local businesses while enjoying a fantastic day out with friends.

A HUGE thank you to all the families who joined us for our free Halloween taster art class today!👻

We were absolutely blown away by the number of children who came along! It was lovely to welcome so many new faces into our studios, and every single child was wonderful.

We hope you all had a great time painting with us, and we’re looking forward to seeing many of you again in our term time classes!

During our Dementia Arts recent visit to Alzheimer Scotland, one participant had a guide to work from but decided to go straight into creating something of his own, and it was amazing to see!
It sparked a lovely conversation about how some people can draw straight from their imagination, while others prefer to have something to copy. What do you prefer?

For those living with dementia, art can provide an opportunity for self-expression, creativity and connection, even when words become more difficult. Painting and drawing can spark memories, encourage conversation and create moments of joy, achievement and togetherness.

🎨 Free taster places for 5 & 6 year olds 🎨

Is your little one ready for their first proper art class? Our Little Artist Club Skills class is made just for 5 and 6 year olds. It’s a gentle step from play-based learning into a real art studio.

Classes run on a two-week cycle. In the first week the children try out a new material and practise the basics. In the second week they use what they’ve learned to make a finished painting. We also do some pencil work every week, which is great for building confidence and those fine motor skills.

Groups are kept small so every child gets plenty of attention. We’ve got a small number of free taster places at both our Ayr studio (12 Alloway Place) and our Kilmarnock studio at Centrestage.

Join us for a fun filled Minions & Monsters Workshop where students will be guided by our teachers through the stages of a painting inspired by the brand new Minions movie, starting with the basic shapes and gently building up the drawing and painting, learning new skills and techniques along the way.
