Holiday reminder
✨ JUST A LITTLE REMINDER FROM GLITZ & GLEAM ✨
We cover Ayr & Prestwick and we completely understand that holidays and plans can come up! 💕✈️
If you’re going away or don’t require your usual clean, please could you let us know around 1–2 weeks in advance wherever possible.
As a self-employed cleaning business, your cleans are our main source of income. When we find out at the last minute that someone is going away, it means we often don’t have enough time to fill that slot with another customer — and unfortunately, we lose that income.
We absolutely don’t mind you having holidays or missing a clean — we just ask that you give us as much notice as you can so we have the opportunity to offer the slot to somebody else. ❤️
So please, if you have holidays booked, pop it in the comments or message us as soon as you know.
Thank you so much for your understanding and for supporting our little business. 🫶✨

✨ A Little Update from Glitz and Gleam Pristine Cleaning ✨

We just wanted to let all our lovely customers know about a few changes coming into place from 1st September 2026. 💖

After all her hard work, June will be taking a step towards semi-retirement, and Michelle will be taking over the running of Glitz and Gleam Pristine Cleaning. 🧹✨

We’re incredibly grateful for all your continued support, and while there will be a few changes as Michelle settles into her new role, we’ll continue to provide the same care, reliability and high standard of cleaning you know and trust. 🫧✨

We’d also like to make our payment terms clear going forward:

💷 Cash payments must be made on the day of your clean.
🏦 Bank transfers must also be made on the day of your clean.
🧾 Invoices must be paid within 7 days of being issued.

We completely understand that life gets busy, but keeping payments up to date helps us keep everything running smoothly and continue providing the best possible service to all our customers. ❤️

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, kindness and understanding as we move into this next chapter for Glitz and Gleam Pristine Cleaning. ✨

Here’s to a fresh start and plenty more sparkling homes! 🏡✨

✨ A Little Reminder to All Our Lovely Clients ✨
As always, we'd like to thank you for your continued support of Glitz & Gleam. ❤️
We just wanted to make everyone aware of something regarding regular cleaning appointments.
If you've changed your cleaning schedule from weekly to fortnightly, fortnightly to every three weeks, or every three weeks to every four weeks, please bear in mind that more time is often needed to achieve the same standard of clean.
Our prices are kept as low and competitive as possible and are based on the agreed cleaning schedule and the time allocated for your visit. If areas haven't been kept on top of between cleans, or you'd like additional tasks completed that take us beyond the allocated time, these will be charged as an extra.
Please also remember that every home is different. Some cleans take around 1 hour, others 1.5 hours, and some 2 hours or more, depending on the size of the property, the condition, and what's required on the day.
One final little request – please don't pre-spray surfaces or products before we arrive, unless it's something specific like treating mould in a shower. Pre-spraying often means we have to spend extra time removing dried-on cleaning products before we can begin cleaning properly, which actually creates more work rather than saving time.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We love helping keep your homes looking their best and appreciate your cooperation so we can provide the best service possible for everyone. ✨🧽

Happy Saturday, everyone! 🌟

Just finished up cleaning my showers and realised that the screens and tiles never really get dirty or a build up limescale and soap scum.

Why?

Because I keep a cheap squeegee in each shower, and every time someone showers, we wipe away the excess water from the screen and shower.

Simple, effective, and saves us from scrubbing away later! 💦

Do you keep a squeegee in your shower too?
