It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our Chair of the Board, David Hughes.

David was much more than our Chair. He was a friend, a mentor, and a passionate supporter of Harbour who believed wholeheartedly in recovery, hope, and second chances. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support helped shape Harbour into the organisation it is today.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his wife Carol, his sons Blair and Ben, and all who loved him.

David's impact on Harbour and the lives of so many people will never be forgotten. We are grateful for everything he gave and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, David. You will be deeply missed by your Harbour family. ❤️

🌟 What a busy and fantastic weekend for Harbour Ayrshire! 🌟

We had the pleasure of attending both the 🍔🥨 Ballantrae Food Festival and the 🏴🎶 Girvan Lowland Gathering.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, chatted with us, and supported Harbour Ayrshire throughout the weekend. 🙌💙 It was a real pleasure to be part of these wonderful community events and to celebrate everything that makes our local communities so special. 😊

Eilidh volunteers within our New Beginnings East Family Group and is also Harbour Ayrshire's youngest volunteer! 🌟💜

Eilidh first came to Harbour Ayrshire seeking support as a family member affected by the addiction of loved ones. Through courage, determination, and a commitment to her own recovery journey, she has embraced every aspect of family recovery and grown into an inspiring young woman. 💕🌈

Today, Eilidh is a wonderful role model for other family members who may be struggling with the impact of a loved one's addiction. She regularly attends Harbour support groups across Ayrshire, sharing her family's recovery story and offering hope, encouragement, and understanding to others. 🤝💙

Eilidh is also a participant in our Bridge to Shore Project, is currently attending college 📚🎓, embracing her driving lessons 🚗, and continuing her healing journey with strength and determination every step of the way. 🌱✨

Your passion, kindness, and willingness to support others make a real difference. The hope you bring to families facing difficult times is truly invaluable. 💜
