A massive shout-out to our amazing volunteer Jamie Borland! 👏❤️

Jamie has taken his experience with Harbour Ayrshire all the way to the North Sea, creating Better Days Ahead, a fantastic mental health initiative offering peer support to offshore workers aboard the VALARIS 72. 🌊

His incredible work has earned him a 2026 Energy Safety Award! 🏆

From finding support at Harbour to supporting others offshore, Jamie is living proof of the power of recovery and giving back.

Better late than never! 🚗🎉❤️

A massive congratulations to oor wee Eilidh, our Family Volunteer of the Year, who has only gone and passed her driving test first time! 🚗👏

And that's not all… Eilidh has also recently moved into employment! 🙌❤️

Two fantastic achievements and another example of what can be achieved through hard work, determination and recovery.

We're all incredibly proud of you, Eilidh. Watching you grow in confidence and continue moving forward is what it's all about.

💜 Scottish Recovery Awards 2026 💜

What an amazing night celebrating the incredible people and organisations making a difference in recovery across Scotland! 🌟

We were absolutely delighted to be nominated and selected as finalists, and to be part of such a special evening, surrounded by so many inspirational people who share our passion for recovery.

A massive congratulations to all the winners and fellow finalists. Every one of you deserves recognition for the incredible work you do! 👏💜

For us, it's about lives being changed, families being reunited, hope being restored and the amazing recovery journeys we have the privilege of witnessing every day. ❤️

We are incredibly proud of our staff, volunteers and everyone who is part of the Harbour family. You are the reason we do what we do.

A huge thank you to Abbeycare and all the organisers for putting together such a fantastic evening. Thanks also to the hotel and its staff for their wonderful hospitality, the presenters for doing a brilliant job, and everyone who took part in making the night so special.

Every organisation and individual recognised on the night is playing a part in showing that recovery is possible!

We came away feeling inspired, grateful and prouder than ever of what we're building together.

🏔️💙 THEY ONLY GONE AND DONE IT -THE ROOF OF AFRICA! 💙🏔️

We couldn’t be prouder to share that Laura and Mary — our incredible Two girls with altitude — have reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, standing at an unbelievable 5,895 metres. 🇹🇿❤️

What these two women have put themselves through to get there is incredible. Months of preparation followed by days of climbing, exhaustion, freezing conditions and finally a gruelling six-hour summit push through the night.

But when things got tough, they remembered why they were doing it.

For Bobby. 💙
For Harbour.
For their families.
And for everyone who has been affected by addiction and loss.

Seeing them standing on top of Africa holding Bobby’s flag is something that has genuinely touched everyone here at Harbour.

Every penny they have raised will help Harbour continue supporting individuals and families across Ayrshire whose lives have been affected by alcohol and drug addiction.

A wee bit of Monday motivation 💙

We received this lovely message from David today and wanted to share it.

“I just want to post a wee bit of gratitude to the whole of Harbour. Without you guys I wouldn’t have been able to achieve what I have done so far.

Today was a big milestone for me as I managed to gain my HNC in Photography. It’s been up and it’s been down, but with hard work and determination I managed it.

So thank you all for being a part of my life for the last three years. xx”

🎉 Happy 4th Anniversary to Recycle Ayr! 🎉

A fantastic milestone for Frances and the whole Recycle AYR team as they celebrate four years of making a real difference in the community. 💚

Thanks to the Woman’s Fund for Scotland for their ‘Deep Roots Fierce Futures’ event hosted by ‘Feisty Gals’.

Cheryl and Amanda had a very full and fun day networking and learning at The Barracks in Stirling, including a public speaking workshop.

Cheryl featured on Susan Morrison, Comedienne Podcast raising awareness of the hard work that Harbour do, finished off with the whole conference participating in a Sing off, hosted by Kirsty Baird from Sing in the City.
