Did you know Mrs Mary Maclaurin founded a trust that was appointed to build an art gallery in memory of her husband James Henry Maclaurin ?
Built in the beautiful grounds of Rozelle , Maclaurin House has gathered some of the best collections of 20th and 21st century art , exhibited from time to time and lent to other galleries.
The galleries opened in June 1976 and over the decades Maclaurin Art Gallery has exhibited art of all levels , from artists around Ayrshire and the wider community. One can only imagine the diverse range of artists given the chance to display their creativity .
Save the Children UK Ayr and District Branch 2026 will bring more artists and creativity on display over four of the gallery rooms.
Come along to our fabulous exhibition , find inspiration , perhaps you are on the verge of starting your creative journey , it's never too late.
Oh and hopefully in one of those four rooms you will find art you never knew you wanted on your walls.

Save the Children have asked us to find some keen runners - would you be interested ?

We have just 15 places to fill for the Great North Run.
Please can you reach out to your family and friends to help us push these places so we can maximise our income from this event this year .
This amazing event takes place on 13th of September this year and we would love to have a mass of Save the Children T shirts crossing the finish line in Southshields.
