Vocalights Choir Vocalights is a choir in Aylsham open to all. We sing a mix of enjoyable songs in 3 part harmony. 🎶 First session is free!

Vocalights is a fun, community-based choir that meets on Thursday evenings (during term time) at Emmanuel Church Hall, Cawston Road, Aylsham. We sing a vibrant and eclectic mix of music — from jazz to African rhythms, pop to Broadway hits, seasonal favourites to classical pieces, and everything in between! It's a friendly, welcoming space where the joy of singing comes first. We use sheet music, b

ut there’s no need to read music or have previous experience — you can learn by ear too. No auditions, no pressure — just bring your enthusiasm and love for singing! Time: Thursdays, 7:00–8:30pm

🎶 Concert Countdown – Just 2 Weeks to Go! 🎶

Our summer concert is now only two weeks away and we can't wait to share it with you!

This year we're performing at the beautiful Beeston Hall School, giving us a much larger venue and the opportunity to sing to our biggest audience yet. We've been working incredibly hard on the music and it would mean so much to perform to a packed hall filled with supportive faces.

Please help us spread the word and invite your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues along for what promises to be a fantastic evening of music. The more people we have in the audience, the more special the occasion will be for everyone involved.

We are counting down to our Vocalights Choir Concert - *WHY WE SING* 💛

An evening filled with beautiful music, uplifting harmonies, powerful solos, laughter, emotion, and all the reasons music brings people together 🎤✨

From feel-good favourites to goosebump moments, this is a concert celebrating connection, community and the joys of singing. With song including the tear-jerking 'Fix You', the Gospel feel-good 'I Sing Because I'm Happy' and the uplifting 'Why We Sing' and many more, it's sure to be an evening of wholesome performances. Expect stunning solos, small groups and full choir performances.

Join us for an uplifting evening of music, community, and celebration at our annual summer choir concert, Why We Sing.

This year’s concert explores all the reasons we lift our voices - for joy, for comfort, for friendship, for strength, and simply for the love of singing together. From powerful harmonies to feel-good favourites, every song tells a story and reminds us why music matters so much.

This year’s concert is themed Why We Sing. We sing for many reasons - for joy, for fun, and to celebrate being together. We sing when things are hard, to find strength and hope. We sing to express who we are and to connect with others. Each song in our summer concert represents a different reason we lift our voices, reminding us that singing isn’t just something we do - it’s something that brings us together 🥰
