Blofield Loke Aylsham - a warning for users of the Loke: new shingle has been placed on the surface at the Oakfield Road end, and it's rather deep, deep enough to 'beach' my electric mobility scooter. If it wasn't for the kindness of a passing gentleman who managed to pull the scooter out of it's predicament, I might still be there! I have subsequently heard that others with pushchairs etc have had problems.
Not blaming anyone, just something to be aware of.

Aylsham and District Probus is a small, friendly club that wecomes retired men. We meet on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, with every meeting featuring a speaker. Subjects in the past and the future include “London, city of ships”, “The Gulf War”, “The astonishing life of Queen Victoria”, “Oberammergau”, and many more. Please see below for the complete 2023 list.
Meetings start of 10.45, finishing at noon, after which members have the opportunity for a chinwag over a drink at the bar. We always welcome new members and you are kindly invited to one of our meetings as a guest.
