🌟 Meet Miguel Pepe – Your 2nd "Best for Aylesbury West" Candidate for Oxford Road! 🌟

Hello, everyone! My name is Miguel Pepe, and I am honoured to stand as your candidate for Oxford Road in the upcoming Town Council election.

With a background spanning five countries and multiple industries—including accountancy, fashion, automotive, and renewable energy—I bring a fresh perspective, dedication, and a strong commitment to our community.

🏡 Why Oxford Road? Why Now?
As a proud resident of Aylesbury, I understand the unique challenges and opportunities our neighbourhood faces. Over the past two years, I have been actively involved in our community through volunteering, charity work, and local initiatives. My passion for serving and improving Aylesbury has only grown, and I am ready to step up and represent you.

🌍 Building Community, Celebrating Diversity
I’ve dedicated my time to bringing people together, whether through cultural events, local volunteering as a Womble, or my role as a charity trustee supporting vulnerable children in South America. I believe that by strengthening our connections, we can create a more vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community.

đź’ˇ My Vision for Oxford Road
If elected, I will work to:
✅ Strengthen Community Engagement – Ensuring your voice is heard through open forums and regular meetings.
✅ Promote Sustainability – Drawing on my experience in renewable energy to advocate for greener initiatives.
✅ Enhance Cultural Inclusion – Celebrating diversity and fostering unity through community events.
✅ Encourage Volunteerism – Expanding local initiatives like litter-picking and community clean-ups.

🤝 Let’s Shape Our Future Together
I am here to listen, act, and work alongside you to make Oxford Road an even better place to live. This election isn’t just about choosing a councillor—it’s about choosing someone who genuinely cares about our community and will work tirelessly for you.

I look forward to meeting you, hearing your concerns, and building a brighter future for Oxford Road—together.

📢 Join me on this journey! Like, share, and let’s make a difference!

So back on the 12 of September Aylesbury Town Council completed flood defence training for the willows this is a vital bit of equipment
A massive well done and thank you for all involved in the training
A big shout to 2 of our councillors Councillor Ian Beard - Independent
Alongside Cllr Richard Lloydd who joined them in the training 💪🏻

A message from Aylesbury Town Council

Hello Willows residents,

You may see some of our team tomorrow (12/09) as we will be carrying out flood defense training from 9am, using the dedicated equipment. The training will be carried out in an isolated area with no disruption to residents.

We wanted to let you know that this is just a training exercise and the equipment is not being deployed for a real flood. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us via our page -

🚶‍♀️🌳 Ward Walkabout Update – Oxford Road Ward

I was pleased to join Aylesbury Town Council Cllr Ian Beard for another ward walkabout this week.

Here are some of the points raised:

🌱 Pavement cracks caused by tree roots on Dixon Close (off Briskman Way)

🚌 Buses not currently going through Fowler Road

đźš— Parking concerns on Thame Road South

🌊 Funding for flood defences along the brook by the Round Aylesbury Walk, near Stratford Drive and Miles End

I’ll be following up on each of these to make sure residents’ voices are heard and practical solutions are pushed forward.

Thank you once again to Ian for taking the time to meet with me. I'm committed to working with Councillors of all political parties and none to help deliver the change our residents deserve.
