If you’ve got kids ages 0-9 come along and join us tomorrow!! We will have a bouncy castle, soft play and delicious refreshments in the cafe! It’s cooler in here than it is outside, so come along and keep the kids entertained for a few hours! 😂🥵☕️

As promised, we said there were some big changes coming . . Introducing BTG Pantry!!! The Pantry will be replacing our weekly food bank, here at Bridge The Gap.
The pantry system allows for our guests to have more choice around the food and essentials they receive from us, as well as giving them more time to chat with our staff and volunteers. Having more choice will help our guests to feel more dignity and agency, whilst also having a positive impact on food waste.

The Pantry is set up to resemble supermarket aisles, the guests are provided with a shopping trolley and then guided around the 'shop' by a team member.
We had our first Pantry last Friday and we were so pleased with how it turned out!

Thank you so much to all of our incredible donors and funders who have made our work possible! Particular thanks to Aylesbury food bank who have been very accommodating and helpful with the changes to the deliveries we receive from them.

We are so grateful to be able to do what we do - and are so excited to see the impact of the Pantry on this community.

Our Welfare Team will be at the Bridge The Gap Advice Hub at Southcourt Baptist Church this Wednesday.

Pop along to chat with us and other local organisations between 11:30am and 1:30pm (please note the slightly earlier finish time this week).

We’ll be at the Advice Hub every third Wednesday of the month, currently scheduled through to November.

We’re pleased to share that we’ll be attending the monthly Bridge the Gap Advice Hub at Southcourt Baptist Church.

Following the closure of our Community Hub at the Vineyard Church, it’s important to us that we continue providing welfare support in Aylesbury, and this is one of the ways we’ll keep supporting local residents.

Come and speak with us and other local agencies this Wednesday, 11:30am – 2pm.

We’ll be there every third Wednesday of the month (currently scheduled up to November).

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Here at BTG headquarters, our Christmas elves have been working hard to build festive hampers to give out to our foodbank guests alongside the regular food parcels. We love being able to give a little bit more to our guests at this time of year 🎄 🎄
