Celebrating World Photography Day at Farnham Common House 📸✨

Recently, our community lounge became a photo gallery as residents showcased their creativity with the theme “An Entire Day”. From time in the garden to stories of daily life, every photograph told a unique story and sparked wonderful conversations.

We were delighted to welcome local photographer Kevin Day, a member of the Stoke Poges Photographic Club, who displayed his own work and kindly took portrait photos of residents and their families — creating lasting memories to treasure.

Residents shared their reflections:
👉 Jeanne: “It is great to see the photos I have taken on display… I even learnt how to take a selfie for the first time!”
👉 Shirley: “Photography is an art form. Each photo can be interpreted in so many different ways, and it’s interesting to hear everyone’s opinions.”

A truly magical day that brought creativity, connection, and lasting memories for residents, families and staff alike. 💙

Fantastic News from Icknield Court! 🌟

We’re proud to share that our Icknield Court care home in Princes Risborough has received a 5-star rating from the Environmental Health Officer (EHO)! 👏

This recognition reflects the incredible hard work of our team who go above and beyond to maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our care home - including cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.

Huge congratulations to the Icknield Court team - your dedication truly shines through! 💙

🐷Meet Patch the Pig, decorated with love by fete-goers for Lewin House resident Doris, as part of our Wishes and Dreams initiative!

Patch joined us at the Florence Nightingale Hospice Fete, where visitors helped decorate her and she helped us raise £70 for a great cause.

She now sits proudly outside Doris’s room, as a little reminder that wishes do come true. 💜

The fete was sponsored by Aylesbury Town Council and was visited by Mayor Cllr Nidhi Mehta, who also paid a visit to Lewin House’s stall.

Across our homes we enjoyed welcoming our local communities with live music, afternoon tea, and special visitors 🌟

It was a wonderful opportunity to share the work we do and create joyful moments with everyone💚

What a wonderful day in the sunshine at Cherry Garth! 🌞

A huge thank you to our amazing residents, relatives and staff who came together to transform our garden into something truly special.

With planting, painting, laughter and love, we created a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy. More than just gardening, it was a lovely celebration of community and connection 💙
