BACO - Bucks Association for the Care of Offenders

BACO - Bucks Association for the Care of Offenders BACO is a registered charity (1186375) whose aim is to help offenders break their cycle of criminal behaviour and reintegrate back into society succussfully.

We are a wholly voluntary organisation. We work in cooperation with both the Prison Service and Probation, but independently of both. We have a solid body of supporters and seek to expand this; for a nominal annual subscription of £20 we offer membership to those who share our aims. We provide grants to serving prisoners, those released into the community on temporary licence (ROTL) who are author

ised to leave the prison to complete voluntary work, education or employment and prepare for their release. BACO additionally supports ex-offenders who are living within the county of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. Requests for assistance come from the Probation Service, the BACO Support Service in prisons and other charitable organisations. We also work with Bucks Youth Offending Service (YOS) and Milton Keynes Offending Team (YOT).
