A new organisation has taken over the Oasis premises at the Walton Street site in Aylesbury. We are pleased to say they are able to continue to provide the Clare Community Shed and they are running the cafe and music studio as social enterprises giving their students real life work experience, whilst remaining a great local community resource.

Official Announcement – Closure of The Oasis Partnership

After careful consideration, the trustees of The Oasis Partnership have taken the difficult decision to close the charity. This process is now underway and operations will cease shortly.

Our priority during this period is the welfare of the people who matter most — our staff, volunteers, clients, and the wider community we have served. We are committed to supporting staff and clients as responsibly and compassionately as possible during this transition, and to working constructively with partners where appropriate.

We also want to reassure the Aylesbury community that we understand a new organisation will be taking over the Aylesbury site. They have committed, starting this week to continuing several much-valued community activities, including the Aylesbury Community Shed, Tasty Tuesdays community meal, and Open Mic Nights and other live music events.

People who attend or support these activities are encouraged to keep an eye on social media in the coming weeks, where further information about future plans will be shared by the new organisation.

The Oasis Partnership has been part of the local community for many years, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported our work — including staff, volunteers, funders, partners, and the individuals and families who placed their trust in us.

Thank you all for being part of the Oasis story.

Screamin' Irene () — the band who officially launched our basement stage during the 2025 Next Wave Festival return at last to headline their first full 12 Below Basement Sessions show.

_crimson97 () — formed in 2021, the four-piece have built a strong reputation for energetic live performances and thoughtfully crafted originals that bridge indie, grunge, and alternative rock. Each time we’ve seen them they’ve continued to grow and tighten their sound, and we’re confident our audience will love what they bring to the basement this February.

🎤 Open Mic Night – Dry January Special | This Friday!

Join us this Friday for a one-off Dry January special. Fear not – we’ll be back to our usual bar service at next month’s Open Mic, and alcohol will be available as normal at our regular Gig Night next Friday. Think of it as a chance to enjoy live music in a fresh way (and with a fresh head!).

Not an instrumentalist? No problem! If you just want to sing, jump up with our house band, who’ll back you live on stage. We’ll even have lyrics on screen, so there are no excuses – just grab the mic and enjoy the moment!

Not ready to perform? That’s totally fine too. Plenty of people come along just to relax, enjoy a hot or cold drink, and watch our amazing local talent take the stage.

A welcoming, alcohol-free space to perform, connect, and enjoy local talent.
