- How long have you been volunteering with BucksVision?
"For over 12 years!"
- Why did you decide to begin volunteering?
"I am visually impaired myself, and the charity has been a massive help to me, so I wanted give back to BucksVision and volunteering made the most sense to me."
- What have you enjoyed most about your time volunteering?
"I organise our coffee mornings, the Sunshine Group. It's been great to get the group together for various activities, socialising, and getting various different speakers in."
- What benefits have you experienced personally?
"Volunteering has been great for my confidence and it gives me a space to socialise and get to know some new people."
- What would you say to anyone who is thinking about volunteering?
"Go and do it, it's very rewarding, you'll make some new friends on the way too!"
