As Volunteers’ Week comes to an end, we’d like to thank our volunteers again for all they do and will continue to recognise and celebrate their contribution throughout the year.

Many of our team have been volunteering with us for years, others are new to volunteering with 1st Aylesbury. Lets celebrate them all!

To all our fabulous volunteers - all 65 of you, from our Young Leaders, to Trustees, to our fundraising team to all our section team - we thank you and appreciate everything you do for us.

We're so lucky to have you supporting our leaders, providing new ideas, bringing fun to the sessions, putting new ideas on the table and generally being the coolest Leaders in the team!

At Scouts we welcome everyone, including those who are part of LGBTQ+ communities. We aim to create spaces where our volunteers and young people can thrive and be themselves with pride and feel they have a place to belong.

As the patron saint of Scouting, St. George's Day is a time for Scouts all over the world to come together and reflect on what it means to be a Scout - with many choosing to renew their promise!

Our Group will be joining Scouts from all over Aylesbury in the town centre on Sunday afternoon. They'll be taking part in a uniformed parade and service before they renew their promise. This is part of a community event open to the whole community. The parade is from 4pm, but there are activities from Aylesbury Town Council during the day.

However you're celebrating this year, we hope you have a fantastic time!
