Clean again, thanks for your help lads.

Unfortunately we had a visit from the e-bikes yesterday who thought it clever to spray soil all over the park. Making it unusable. We've given it a sweep last night and it'll be swept again before the schools finish for the summer. If you fancy helping us, bring a broom - we'll be there about 11am

The eagle-eyed among you will have noticed that there a couple of blanking boards where the granite curb should be.
The delivery on the curb has been delayed for a week or two. But once it's in, it'll be the cherry on the cake.
And the best curb for miles around. 🙌🏻

Safety inspection complete, fences are down. Ready to be used!

First concrete pour happened yesterday with more going in today. Still blown away by the skill that has gone in to the formation of the ramps. Get down to have a look before it's covered up forever! This is next level skatepark design and construction by Canvas.

Well, would you look at that! 2 posts in 2 days!! Must be the hot weather.

A date for your diaries!

Come and join the party on Sunday 17th August to celebrate the official opening of the skatepark. All are welcome, come and try skateboarding or show us your skills! More exciting and fun things to be confirmed for that day. 👋

📣 Wendover Skatepark Update 📣

We have reached the next milestone in our attempts to provide a facility for the young people in Wendover. Young people need safe places to meet, exercise and be creative - Wendover skatepark will be that place and provide a focal point for social interaction.

🥁... We are pleased to say that the planning application for the Skatepark has been approved 🥳

Next steps...
💰Funding - We are ramping up our efforts to look for funding and grants for the Skatepark project.

🛹 Community Engagement - We will continue to talk to residents about our ambition for the Skatepark and the benefits of having a Skatepark in a community.

We've been a bit quiet when it comes to the Wendover Skate Park since the brilliant decorations were being sold, thank you to everyone who bought one to support the Skatepark!

🌟 We are happy to report that £1,194 was raised from the Christmas decorations, thank you to all the Councillors who were involved in the project and the local residents and businesses who supported the initiative.
