4 years ago in the woodlands of Fantastic Mr Fox, a Llama was in the crown of an Ash with a Badger, the rain driving in their faces and the winds throwing the tree in many directions, needless to say, they were soaked to the bone.
On the forest floor below a Lemur coordinated the creatures whom were barely recognisable from such a height, their collective goal was to rig a supply line into the bean can to send, food, water and supplies to a pigeon with a Satchel and a scrap whom had been enclosed in an ancient woodland set to be decimated for the construction of the rich boys train set...
People employed by a system they had been indoctrinated into from a young age, who had not been taught to critically analyse what they were told to do, descended on the woodlands first removing the humans, then fencing in the remaining beings,
Multiple creatures were caged, held by these delusional animals in uniforms who believed they were protecting the masses, when actually, they were up holding colonialist principles and the profits and greed of the few.
The creatures whom managed to avoid these deluded uniforms were either fenced in, trapped or left homeless. badger setts caged, nesting sites felled, ancient mycellial networks destroyed, wisdom, knowledge, communities and life decimated, biodiversity gone in the blink of an eye.
The battle of the bean can went on for many days and the occupants were joined by other beings enclosed in this space, coming together for one last stand for the beings that only some can hear.
Whilst all this was happening a willow called out in their soft yet determined tone and demanded to be heard, for they were not merely a willow but a maternity roost for endangered bats who's role in the biodiversity of this ecosystem was integral.
Willows graceful voice could not be unheard by those pulling the strings of the puppets in uniforms.
The occupation of the bean can came to an end with a theatrical game of cat and mouse through the branches, cherry pickers, nets and ropes.
The beings occupying this land were bought more time however the puppeteers overrode wildlife laws and the human rights act and paid their way to complete not only the decimation of that above, they pumped glycophosphate into the tree stumps in turn killing them, the mycelium and the soil too
What they could not buy though was the solidarity of the beings facing colonialist decimation, the common unity if anything grew stronger and spread wider for the mycelial web that was destroyed below had been replicated above....
