Christmas Tree Recycling - 10th January 2026

Axbridge Sports & Social Club will once again be offering to recycle your Christmas tree in the New Year

If you would like the tree collected please ensure it outside your property by 9am on Saturday morning, we will cover all of the roads in Axbridge

If you are bringing the tree to the Square please drop it off by 10am

Please can you ensure all decorations / stands / pots etc have been removed

A suggested donation of £5 would be appreciated.

If anyone would like to pay by bank transfer then please contact us for the bank details

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported Santa in the Square we hope you had an enjoyable evening.

By supporting the events we put on in Axbridge this year has allowed us to donate £100 to each of the following local and voluntary groups who all do so much to make Axbridge the great community it is.

Not long to go now, all tickets have been delivered to those that registered, if you didn't register then please bring your own gift to the back of the stage on Saturday evening.

We have had a little tip off that Santa maybe in town tomorrow evening for his first visit of season courtesy of Cheddar Fire Station, keep an eye out from 5:30pm 🎅🏼 🎄 🚒

The festive period will soon be upon us, Axbridge Sports and Social Clubs Father Christmas event will be held in the square on Saturday 20th December from 4:00pm, Father Christmas will arrive at 5:00pm
Eligibility:
Your child must be a resident of Axbridge to receive a gift from Father Christmas.
As previously all eligible children (school year 4 and under) will need their details e-mailed to the dedicated e-mail address which is
[email protected]
even if they attend Axbridge School or Busy Bees:-
•Name including surname
•Address
•Gender
•Current Age
Tickets will be delivered to your address in the week leading up to the event.
If you live outside the Axbridge boundary or have relatives visiting and you wish your child to join in, you can bring a small wrapped named present to the Square and leave it with Santa’s helpers. You will be given a card and your child will then receive their gift in the same way as the Axbridge children.
The closing date for registrations is the 30th November 2025
