We are readying ourselves for our new season which starts on Tuesday 2nd September. Open to members old and new for an enjoyable season ahead with plenty of fascinating talks, competitions, lectures and more, come along and join us, we meet at Awsworth Youth Centre on Tuesday evenings from September to May or message us if you’d like more details

Our members enjoyed a great presentation last Tuesday by Ian Pinn. He bought a fabulous collection of top quality landscape prints for us admire. He was very helpful and happy to share tips and tricks. A really good night!

A great night to start 2025, with a fun knockout competition. Two of our members, Angela and Sean, are looking to become judges, so they had the opportunity put their judging skills to the test, which they did admirably. After six rounds of one against one knockouts, our winner was Phil Peat with an image of a Hummingbird. Well done everyone for a good night.
Next week we look at top quality photography from all across the UK, with the acceptances from a BPE salon. There's direct be some excellent images on show.

Our last two competitions have seen wins for David Bull, on the theme of 'Emotion, and Joyce Creswell in our Open print competition - well done to them both!! It's our Xmas meal next week and we round the year off on the 17th December with our quiz and buffet night.

A very enjoyable evening last night for our People and Portrait' and 'Panel' competitions. After a close battle, the People and Portrait competition was won by Steve Walters with his image 'Esme' and the Panel competition was won by Jayne Woodward with her panel of firefighters.
Well done to Steve and Jayne and thanks to all who entered.
Next week we have lecture about Mongolia - should be fascinating!

Well after a close fought competition on the theme of 'Water' last week, the winner was Steve Walters. Very well done Steve!!
We welcome Michael Poole to the club tomorrow evening, bringing what promises to be an excellent lecture on sports photography. Should be a very good evening!!

What an excellent first competition of the season, with over fifty entries.
Well done to all who entered and congratulations to Andrew Camina who came out victorious!
We do it all again next week, with another competition on the theme of 'Water'.

A great start to our season last Tuesday with Derek Doar showing his printed images. This coming Tuesday, 17th Sept, will be a more interactive evening as we look at and discuss entries into this years London Salon, always an evening that gives some great discussion points
