Let's fill Aughnacloy with colour, kindness and a few happy surprises!

We're inviting children, families, community groups and residents of all ages to take part in the Aughnacloy Kindness Rocks Trail.

It's simple:

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Paint a rock
๐Ÿ“ Hide it somewhere in Aughnacloy
๐Ÿ˜Š Brighten someone's day when they discover it

Get creative with themes such as:

๐ŸŒธ Flowers
๐Ÿ Wildlife
โค๏ธ Positive messages
๐Ÿ›๏ธ Aughnacloy landmarks
๐ŸŽจ Or anything that makes people smile!

When you find a rock, take a photo, share it on social media and then re-hide it for someone else to discover.

๐Ÿ“ธ Don't forget to tag Aughnacloy Development Association and Aughnacloy in Bloom in your photos so we can share your creations and see how far the trail spreads across the village.

This is all about community spirit, creativity and kindness โ€“ there are no competitions, no winners and no losers. Just a fun way to bring people together and brighten our village.

Posters will be available through local schools and businesses, so keep an eye out and get involved!

Let's see how many kindness rocks we can spread throughout Aughnacloy! โค๏ธ

NIGHT 2 OF THE BLACKWATER PEACE ADVOCATES PROGRAMME!

We had another fantastic evening bringing together our brilliant young people from North Monaghan and South Tyrone. Hereโ€™s a little look at what we got up to:

๐Ÿช The Great Debate: We kicked things off by chatting about sweet vs. savoury. While savoury took the crown for most, brownies emerged as a major crowd favourite!

โฑ๏ธ The 2-Minute Post-it Race: Things got competitive! We challenged the group to a fast-paced race to brainstorm words they associate with conflict.

๐Ÿ’ก Big Learning Moments: We dived a bit deeper tonight and explored some fascinating conceptsโ€”including the realisation that it actually only takes one person for a conflict to occur, and that international conflict doesn't always have to result in war.

๐ŸŽฎ Game Time: It wasn't all serious discussion, though! We had brilliant fun playing 'Empires' and 'Mafia', which definitely brought out everyone's strategic and competitive sides.

๐Ÿง A Huge Thank You: A massive shoutout to the wonderful mummy who sent in the delicious homemade scones! They were the perfect sweet treat to accompany our teatime break.

We are so proud of how everyone is engaging and sharing their ideas. Bring on week 3! โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ
