Following our recent request for feedback, we are pleased to announce an informal public meeting to discuss the future of the Audley Community Centre.

This meeting will be an opportunity to:

Share the results of the feedback received.

Discuss the next steps for the centre's development and sustainability.

Hear your views in an open, informal setting.

Big News for Audley: The Future is in Our Hands!

📢 Quick Update: Public Meeting
Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts so far! We are currently in the process of collecting and reviewing all responses.

Once this is complete, we will be hosting a public meeting to discuss the results and next steps. Stay tuned for the date and time!

The Audley Community Centre Committee has an incredible, once-in-a-generation opportunity: we have the chance to officially purchase the Community Centre building.

How did we get here?
We are in this fortunate position because of you. Thanks to the incredible village support of The Attic Charity Shop, we have raised the funds necessary to buy the building outright. This is a massive achievement and a testament to what our community can do when we pull together.

The Big Questions
We know you might have questions about the "fine print," so here is where we stand:

Can we afford to buy it? Yes, thanks to the success of The Attic.

Can we afford to run it? Yes, the projections show we are on solid ground.

Can we fix it? Years of council neglect have left us with maintenance issues and damage. Can we put that right? With your help, yes we can.

We Need Your Input & Your Hands
Owning the building means we control our own destiny, but we won’t move forward unless we know the village is behind us. Buying the bricks and mortar is only the first step; we need a fresh wave of energy to restore and run it.

We are looking for volunteers for:

Renovation & Repairs: To help us tackle the backlog of maintenance.

Event & Daily Operations: To keep the doors open and the calendar full.

Specialist Skills: From DIY and gardening to admin and tech support.

"As a village working together, we can and we will make this a centre to be proud of."
