Break Attleborough

Break Attleborough Break's charity shop in Attleborough, helping support vulnerable children, young people and families.

Break is a registered charity supporting vulnerable children, young people and families.

Break is a registered charity providing a diverse range of specialist residential and community based services for vulnerable children, young people and families. We run 7 homes for Looked After Children, and a fostering service for traumatised young people. Additionally, we have a home for young people with profound learning and physical disabilities, and two short-break schemes. Young people leaving Break’s care continue to be supported by our Moving On Team. Break also provides a range of assessment and support services to children at risk through a Residential Family Centre and a range of community-based services across East Anglia, providing support and guidance to separating parents, ensuring that the children's needs remain paramount. The income from Break’s network of 51 charity shops is generated entirely from donated items. We could not run our shops without the dedication of our trained volunteers, who give their time freely, all year round. They bring a wide variety of expertise which is invaluable to our experienced shop managers. We pride ourselves on selling good quality donated goods at affordable prices, and we participate in a recycling scheme, so every donation is put to good use. The funds raised by our shops are vital to the development and continuation of the services we provide for children, young people and families.
