𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀

Are you aware what antenatal support is available to you? Why not come along to one of our 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 antenatal courses!

Sessions are interactive, friendly and relaxed. You are very welcome to attend the sessions alone or bring your birthing partner, friend, or relative along with you.
We have courses available at various locations across the borough, as well as an online course via MS Teams.

There are 4 weeks to each course, week 1 will be an online session via MS Teams, the other 3 sessions will be in person, apart from labour & birth that also has the option of attending online.

Sessions at Mornington Road, Westleigh Family Centre and online run from 6.00-7.30pm.
Sessions held at the Meadows run 1.00pm until 2.30pm on Thursdays,

🌟 VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY – JOIN OUR FAMILY HUB FAMILY! 🌟

We’re looking for some new volunteers to join us at the Family Hub at Formby Avenue! 💛

Our last two volunteers have recently gained full-time employment 🎉 — and we couldn’t be prouder! Now we’d love to welcome some new faces into our Family Hub family. 🥰

There are lots of ways you could get involved, including:
👶 Supporting our sessions
💻 Helping with admin
🌱 Gardening and helping to look after our outdoor spaces
🤝 Supporting local families
🎨 Helping with activities and events

No previous experience is needed! Full training will be provided, and you’ll be fully supported by our friendly Family Hub team every step of the way. 💪

Volunteering is a fantastic way to build confidence, gain new skills, meet people and get valuable experience — and who knows where it might lead! 🌟

We're excited to share our programme at The Family Hub at Formby Avenue and Link Sites running from Monday 7th September to Friday 23rd October 2026.

✨ New sessions this term:

👶 Bump & Buggy Walks • Mondays, 9:45am to 10:45am from Parr Bridge (starting 14th September) • Thursdays, 10:30am from Formby Avenue straight after Rainbow Sensory (starting 10th September)

🎵 NEW! Baby Beats Every Tuesday at 10:30am at Tyldesley Link Site. A fun, musical session designed for babies aged 6 to 18 months.

🧱 NEW! Lego and Craft session at Tyldesley after school on a Thursday 3:30-4:30pm

💛 Plus, all your favourites are back, including: 🌈 Rainbow Sensory 🔎 Mini Explorers 🏃 Active Adventurers

Are you getting ready to start your baby on solid foods? Join our experienced Health Visitors for a friendly and informative session to help you feel confident every step of the way!

🍼 What we’ll cover:

✔️ Suitable first foods
✔️ Safe feeding tips
✔️ Building your baby’s confidence with food
