Worms are a common problem in cats, but they can often go unnoticed until your cat becomes unwell. Regular worm prevention and treatment helps protect your cat’s health and can prevent uncomfortable symptoms such as weight loss, diarrhoea, vomiting and an itchy bottom.

Even indoor cats can pick up worms through fleas or from when they were kittens, so it’s important to speak to your vet about the right worming routine for your cat’s lifestyle.

Signs your cat may have worms can include:
• Weight loss
• Diarrhoea or vomiting
• Increased appetite
• An itchy bottom
• Worm segments in bedding or litter trays

If you notice any of these signs, contact your vet for advice.

Do cats dream? 😴

Your cat is fast asleep on the sofa. Suddenly their whiskers twitch. One paw jerks. Their ears flick as though they’re listening to something only they can hear.

It’s enough to make any cat owner wonder: are they dreaming?

🎉🐱 It’s Mature Moggies Day! 🐱🎉

Ever wondered how old your cat really is in cat years? 🐾 Today’s the purr-fect day to find out!

👇 Check out the chart, find your cat’s age, and tell us in the comments:

🐾 Happy Mature Moggies Day! 🐾

Today, we celebrate the wise whiskers, the slow blinks, and the gentle purrs of our senior feline friends. 😺💕

Whether they're 7 or 17, mature moggies bring a special kind of love - calm, cuddly, and full of character. They’ve mastered the art of the perfect nap, know exactly where the sunbeam hits just right, and have stories written in every whisker.

If you share your home with a golden-aged kitty, give them an extra treat, a soft brush, or a cozy cuddle today. And if you're thinking of adopting, consider giving a senior cat a forever home—they have so much love left to give. 🏡❤️

📸 Share a photo of your mature moggie and tell us their age and favorite pastime!

UPDATE cat is chipped. Owner not located yet.
We’ve had this beautiful visitor for the past few nights. Seems hungry and a bit scared and has been trying to get into our cat flap.
We live on North Road just near Platt Lane in Atherton but I’ve had cats wander to us from Westhoughton before.
Does anyone recognise him/her?
Just want to know he’s OK and not lost etc.
(I know you shouldn’t feed cats who aren’t your own but I was trying to entice him out to get some pictures etc).
He’s been sat under our cars all morning and hasn’t moved at all. I’m just worried he’s lost.
I’m trying to entice him so I can try and get him to a vet to get him scanned for a chip.
Advised paper collars.
