We've had this message sent to us. Please read and contact us if you have any information. ..."My dog (beagle) has just been attacked (06/09/2026 14:00) by a German shepherd on cutacre.
The Getman Shepherd was off lead. The owner was a male with short dark hair wearing glasses.
I’m trying to find out who he is to speak to him. If you are the owner and read this, can you message me directly please or if you know who it is, can you please get him to contact me asap.
We didn’t get details because it was all very frantic and our beagle was that frightened he got out of his leash and harness. Thank you"

A cracking video sent in by Vicky Cairns of a hunting Barn Owl on site. The rain will liven up their prey so while they'll don't usually hunt in the rain they will definitely be glad it's back. Thanks Vicky!

This is the Clouded Yellow a truly migratory butterfly from south Europe and northern Africa that we don't often see in this region. This year however we've had large numbers and I've seen a few at Cutacre too so keep your eyes peeled and you may just catch a glimpse of one.

A common buzzard with a very light coloured eye, I thought it was a honey buzzard at first lol!
