Message received Thursday evening - "I’ve gone to Cutacre tonight and am APPALLED that the fields have been cut particularly the ones off Engine Lane!! There are breeding grasshopper warbler, barn owl, and many more protected bird species using this habitat! It’s disgusting. Do you know who authorised this? This was done in the breeding bird season with no breeding bird checks so is ILLEGAL!! Can this we posted on Facebook and we can find out who’s responsible? Cheers"
