Warwickshire's independent equalities service is at risk. Your voice matters.
Warwickshire County Council is consulting on a proposal to stop funding the Equalities Services Contract currently delivered by EQuIP.
For many years, EQuIP has supported people across Warwickshire who have experienced discrimination, hate crime and inequality. We have also worked alongside communities, voluntary organisations and public services to build trust, challenge discrimination and bring people together.
Now, the future of this vital independent service is uncertain.
The Council has acknowledged that EQuIP is performing well and meeting its targets. Yet the proposal could mean losing trusted support, specialist expertise and community relationships that have taken years to build.
At a time when hate, disinformation and community tensions are increasing, we believe Warwickshire needs to strengthen equality, diversity, inclusion, hate crime support and community cohesion, not weaken them.
This is about more than EQuIP. It is about the people and communities who rely on us.
We need your voice.

Your response does not need to be lengthy or technical. What matters is that your voice is heard.
