Our lovely Thursday night chess club ♟️

Scones, strategy and spilling tea!!

Everyone welcome 🤗

♟️ Chess doesn't always have to be serious.

One of the things that makes our Thursday evening session at Merly’s Kitchen CIC so enjoyable is the atmosphere.

Unlike match nights or tournaments, this is all about enjoying the game. You'll find plenty of conversation, laughter, coffee, cake, and friendly games in a relaxed setting where everyone is welcome.

Whether you're just learning, getting back into chess, or have been playing for years, it's a great place to meet new people and enjoy a game without any pressure.

📍 Merly’s Kitchen CIC, Damhouse, Astley 🕕 Every Thursday | 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Come along for a game - you might stay for the cake too! ☕♟️🍰
