Yesterday Ashton Ukrainian Centre was successful in holding their first meeting to restart OUZ, the women's organisation in the club. Hanya Karpynec and Iryna Terlecky chaired the meeting and explained the importance of having OUZ as an organisation in Ashton and the important part OUZ plays in the smooth running of the club.
Mrs Anna Bolton was thanked for her many years as Holova and was presented with a bouquet of flowers. A new Holova was chosen in Nadia Tkachuk as well as other community members who will support the new Holova as part of her committee. Congratulations Nadia and team I'm sure you'll be a great asset to our centre.
