Well a busy day with BFG rescue with volunteers and dog walking and the puppies. Today, Pumpkin, Rosa, Biscuit and Bonnie picked their forever families and we are over the moon 🌙 This is possible because of your continued support and dedication to our cause. Woody is still waiting. Nearly 4 years old and this beautiful rescue boy is still hoping for his forever family. He's goofy, friendly, walks well on the lead and settles nicely in the home. All he really wants is a sofa to curl up on and a family to call his own. Every day he waits is another day he wonders why nobody has chosen him. Maybe it's you. We’ve been asked to help with this external case.
We currently do not have kennel space in Manchester so they are in the midlands at the moment.
This beautiful brother and sister need our help.
They are absolutely beautiful and can travel for the right home.
All BFG applications and paperwork apply. They are stunning Labrador x American Bulldog mix.
There current owners have this to say:

🐾 Krypto & Stormy are looking for their forever home 🐾
This is one of the hardest things our family has ever had to do, but we are hoping someone very special can give our beautiful dogs, Krypto and Stormy, the loving home they deserve.
Krypto is 4 years old and Stormy is 2. They are Labrador x American Bulldog crosses, although they both look much more like Labradors. They are brother and sister from different litters and have grown up together, so they share a very special bond. Because of this, we would absolutely love for them to stay together if the right home can be found. ❤️
Both dogs have been brought up around children and are used to family life. They are loving, affectionate, obedient and genuinely wonderful dogs with so much love to give.
Krypto is the bigger of the two and is neutered. Stormy is not currently spayed, however her spaying is currently being arranged. Both dogs are up to date with their vaccinations, including kennel cough, as well as their flea and worming treatments.
Sadly, since welcoming a new baby into our family, our circumstances have changed considerably. We are no longer able to give Krypto and Stormy the time, exercise, freedom and attention that they were used to and truly deserve.
They have adapted well to the baby and this is not a behavioural or aggression issue. Unfortunately, managing two large dogs alongside a young baby and pushchair has become extremely difficult, and they are now spending much more of their time limited to the kitchen and garden. It breaks our hearts knowing that their world has become smaller because our circumstances have changed.
We have loved these dogs since they were young and they are very much part of our family. Making this decision has taken a great deal of thought and tears, but ultimately we have to put their happiness first.
We are looking for a loving, committed home where they can enjoy regular walks, plenty of attention, space to relax and, hopefully, continue their lives together.
Krypto and Stormy have so much love still to give. We just want to find the people who can give that love back to them. 🐶❤️🐶

Regarding the applications to our spaniel puppies, we have selected applicants that stood out to us by fitting our criteria of living nearby and having the ideal home environments. We will update other applicants if some of the current interests are no longer available. But this will now mean that applications, updates and other interests in the puppies are closed and we will reach out to you if we need to.

🐾 PUPPY UPDATE & ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT 🐾
Look who’s all clean and ready for their close-up! Our gorgeous litter born on July 9th just had their very first bath day and photo shoot, and they were absolute superstars.

We want to sincerely apologize to everyone waiting on updates regarding adoption applications. Between the day-to-day operations at our kennels and keeping up with everything at BFG Rescue, life has been non-stop!
Please rest assured that we will be reviewing all submitted applications very soon and getting in touch with potential adopters.
🗓️ Availability Update: The pups are estimated to be ready for their forever homes starting September 10th, once they have completed their second round of vaccinations.

Another busy morning with BFG Rescue and our wonderful volunteers who make everything possible!
Dizzy, Woody, and Lawrence have all been out for long walks and enjoying their socialization time today. These three beautiful boys are ready for their forever homes, but each is looking for that special family:
* Woody (Nearly 4 years old): Woody is fully vaccinated, castrated, and totally ready for his next chapter! He is an absolute gem and completely prepared to jump straight into family life.
* Lawrence (2 years old): Fully vaccinated and castrated. Lawrence is a lovely boy who needs a quiet, rural home where he won't feel overwhelmed by town life. He needs a patient family to help him rebuild his confidence around people after a tough transition in his previous home.
* Dizzy (4½ years old): Castrated, vaccinated, and microchipped. Kennels can be tough on a dog's confidence, so Dizzy needs an understanding family willing to give him a bit of time and patience as he settles into the world outside.
