As two organisations proudly rooted in the local community, we're looking forward to working together to raise vital funds and awareness for local patients and families in our care.

There are lots of exciting fundraising events planned throughout the season 😊

Our over 65's Walking Football team had use of the pitch at The Tameside Stadium yesterday for their weekly training session, funded by the National League Trust, ahead of them playing in the Greater Manchester Walking Football League today (Month 3) up at Heywood Sports Village.

A great effort by everyone in the squad, slowly adapting to playing in a higher division this season after gaining promotion at the first attempt last season.

The team stats were P5 W 1 L1 D3 👏

Our National League Trust funded Women's Walking Football team played their first fixture in Curzon Ashton FC colours, taking on a team representing Foundation 92 (Salford City FC) in a friendly.

A very competitive game was equal at half-time, with the score being 2-2, with Curzon Ashton running (walking!) out winners 4-2 by Full Time.

Thanks to everyone who played, some great football from both sides 👏.

Thanks also to David Partington (aka Tunnel Dave) for Referee duties for the game.

Massive thank you to the ladies who came over from Salford, see you in the Cheshire League in September 👍🔵⚪️
