Ashtead Good Neighbours Providing a helping hand to residents of Ashtead, Surrey New to Facebook and maybe new to you but certainly not new to Ashtead!

Ashtead Good Neighbours (AGN) has been giving a helping hand to residents of Ashtead for many years now but, like many other organisations, suffered the effects of the Covid pandemic. However we are up and running again and our registered Clients are receiving the help they need from our team of volunteers, whether it be transport to a medical appointment, a little necessary shopping or simple DIY

. Our clients can be confident that our volunteers are DBS checked, and will ensure that they will be looked after from pick up to drop off back home again. Do you know someone who would like that bit of “neighbourly” help? If you have a few hours a month to spare to join our team of volunteers, with no commitment for any day or specific hours, we would love to hear from you too. It is so worthwhile and gives great personal satisfaction knowing another Ashtead resident appreciates your time. After all the rain, it looks like the sun will shine for us tomorrow.
Make our day and visit us on A14 (opposite the vintage cars). The kiddies can guess how many Percy Pigs are in the jar and we can take the opportunity to tell you the difference our volunteer drivers make to Ashtead residents.

It is Make a Difference Day today and here in Ashtead, you too could make a difference.

Our volunteer drivers take Ashtead residents to all types of medical appointment - we pick them up, wait for them and take safely home. Many would not be able to attend these important appointments without our help.

Your help would be very much appreciated. No set days, no set times - just a couple of day a month would make a huge difference.
