🏳️‍🌈 2026 – tickets are going!

LGBTQI+ young people in the UK are growing up amid rapidly changing times. What does this mean for their safety, education, well-being and sense of belonging, and what can we do about it?

Join us for 2026 on Friday 6 November at the ONE Centre, Gateshead.

We have a packed day with 5 keynote speakers and 6 conference sessions, bringing together young people, professionals, researchers, educators and the LGBTQI+ community.

🎤 Keynotes include Sue Sanders, Laïla El-Métoui, Kate Osborne MP, Colin Scott with a young person, and Drew Dalton.

We’re also working closely with Gateshead College, our Gold Sponsor, to make sure young people are actively involved in the conference and their voices are heard.

🥗 Buffet lunch and refreshments are included in your ticket.

This is for everyone: teachers, youth workers, healthcare professionals, students, charities, community organisations, LGBTQI+ people, allies and anyone interested in supporting LGBTQI+ young people.

Well, it looks like autumn is upon us and being the first week of September it is time for our regular LGBTQIA+ meet-up in Alnwick. We will meet between 10.00am and 12 at the SpLinter Hub on Wagonway Road, (just opposite Barter Books). You don't have to have been before, just pop in, all members of the LGBTQIA+ community are welcome. You don't even have to be from Alnwick, if you're from Morpeth or Ashington, or anywhere across Northumberland, please come along, you will be assured of a warm welcome.
