The Tim Lamb Centre in Benton is dear to our Repurposeful family, offering vital inclusive play and support for children with SEND.

The Centre have been repeatedly targeted by thieves and have had all their maintenance tools stolen.

If anyone is selling a strimmer like this, please do get in touch with them.

This is our stolen petrol strimmer- it will cost us £350 to replace.

We were wondering if anyone was selling a stihl petrol strimmer second hand, before we take the hit having to replace it with a new 1 😪

Foster a Tree at the Community Scrapstore
Saturday (13th and not the 12th which we may have thought it was because of, 🤷‍♀️, reasons) 10-12 💚 🌱

Next week is Great Big Green Week!

Nature Walk
We're looking forward to celebrating with a gentle nature walk with Community Links on Monday. To join, just meet us at the stone circle at the entrance to the woods at 12:55. The walk will be a gentle pace and will last roughly 1 hour.

Foster a tree
Our very popular tree fostering scheme will be open again on Wednesday (4-6pm) and Saturday (10-12) thanks to our friends at Repurposeful. Visit the scrapstore (94 Station Road, Ashington) to foster a tree, take care of it and return it for a community tree planting day in the winter when it's bigger and stronger!

Don't forget you can also visit Town Council 's market on Tuesday to find out about more green projects in the area.

Happy Great Big Green Week, everyone!
We are delighted to be one of many organisations aiming to take care of our environment for all of our planet’s inhabitants. Come and visit the scrapstore this afternoon and on Saturday to help reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose existing materials instead of creating more!
We also have baby trees to foster for Friends Of Ashington Community Woods

A reminder that for National Carer's Week we are inviting our carer's to join us on Friday 12th June at 10am till 12pm for a paint and mocktail activity.
We are celebrating are carer's with a fun filled morning of painting and mocktails made for you and bacon/ sausage sandwiches. We'll also have local nursery children coming to sing for us with a few possible games of bingo if we have time
Please try and let us know if you are going to make it so we have an idea of numbers
