🪡🧵 Who is ready for SEW and STITCH SEPTEMBER?

Throughout September, we’ll be celebrating all things textile with a fabulous array of repurposeable resources for all your weaving, sewing, knitting, quilting, crocheting, embroidering, make-do-and-mending needs!

Visit the Scrapstore on Wednesdays from 4-6pm and Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 to find rolls and bundles of quality fabrics, beads, buttons, sequins, zips, threads, needles and haberdashery treasures.

Our low-cost and eco-friendly resources are ideal for trying a new hobby without breaking the bank. If you’ve always wanted to try, now’s your chance!

🚨 It's the last week of our papercraft month! 🚨
Pop in to the Scrapstore this evening (Wednesday) from 4-6pm or tomorrow (Thursday) from 9:30-11:30 for your last chance to stock up at our paper pick'n'mix!

A tired parent to one of our volunteers: “it feels like day 3167 of the holidays. We’re here for some more creative materials!”
We found them everything they needed to play pendulum painting (just add paint). Come and pick up your kit - Wednesday 4-6pm or Thursdays 9.30-11.30! (We suggest you do this one outside) 💚

Wow! Thank you to Ray who brought in some of his fantastic handmade books and gift boxes for us to admire 😍
We love to see how different people are inspired by different materials. This month, we’re celebrating paper and all its uses!
Why not pop down today (Thursday) from 9:30-11:30, or on Sunday from 12-2 to get started on your own creative project inspired by our treasure trove of resources!

Thanks to Georgia Evans for this great tip for reusing our pick n mix papercraft bags (which we saved from going in a skip)!

Georgia says “These bags are great for sending gifts through the post as they are very strong and won't rip! I turned it inside out, put a label on and sent it on its way. So much cheaper than buying the post office plastic bags.”

We love keeping things in use through reuse! 💚
