🥕 THE CARROT CLUB™ IS COMING TO YOU! 🐰🌿

We’ve been a little quiet here recently… but behind the scenes, we’ve been VERY busy!

We’re working away on Harmony Hollow, getting everything ready for The Carrot Club™ to open its burrow at our Ashford hub. There is lots still to do, and we’ve asked some lovely grant funders to help us bring our plans for the space to life. 🤞🌱

But there was one little problem…
So many of our Mini Carrots and their grown ups live too far away to come and join the adventures here in Kent.

So we thought…
Why don’t we bring The Carrot Club™ to you? 🥕📦
And that’s exactly what we’ve done!

We are SO excited to introduce our brand new The Carrot Club™ Subscription Box! 🎉

Every other month, a new adventure will arrive at your door, combining a beautifully illustrated story with six hands-on activities to make, grow, discover and explore together.

And it all begins with Larenzo’s Woodland Adventure in Harmony Hollow… 🐰🍄🦉🌼

🌱 BUT WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

For us, The Carrot Club™ is about so much more than a subscription box.
We want to help get little ones outside, exploring, getting muddy, growing things, noticing the natural world and learning through play. 🌿🐞 We know that not every family can regularly access outdoor activities, nature spaces or organised sessions — and we want to help bring a little bit of that adventure right to their doorstep. 🥕🏡

But there is another really important reason we are doing this…
We want Grown in Harmony CIC to be sustainable. ❤️

As a Community Interest Company, everything we do is about creating opportunities that benefit our community. But to keep developing our projects, creating new activities and making our plans for Harmony Hollow a reality, we need to find ways to generate income alongside grants and funding.

The Carrot Club™ is one of those ways.

Every box helps us to keep growing Grown in Harmony, so that we can continue working towards our wider projects and creating more opportunities for children, families and our community to connect with nature, each other and their surroundings. 🌳💚

We're exploring something new... and we'd love your feedback!

At Grown in Harmony CIC, we're looking into launching a seasonal wellbeing workshop for people living with chronic pain, including fibromyalgia, arthritis and other long-term pain conditions.

The workshop would provide an opportunity to:
💚 Connect with others who understand.
🧘 Experience gentle yoga and Tai Chi.
🌱 Learn practical wellbeing techniques.
👩‍⚕️ Hear from guest professionals and local organisations.
📖 Take home a personalised wellbeing plan to continue your journey.

☀️ KEEPING LITTLE ONES COOL DURING THE HEATWAVE ☀️

At Grown in Harmony, we believe some of the best learning happens through play, exploration and connection with nature.


With temperatures soaring, it's important to help little ones stay cool while still enjoying all the benefits of outdoor discovery.


❄️ Try an Ice Treasure Hunt ❄️

Freeze flowers, leaves, herbs, berries or fruit slices into ice cubes and let children explore as the ice melts.


This simple activity encourages:

🌿 Sensory exploration

🌼 Curiosity about nature

🧊 Fine motor skills

💚 Mindful, child-led play


Other great ways to stay cool include:

💦 Water painting with brushes and buckets

🌸 Making nature soup with petals and leaves

🚿 Splash play in paddling pools or sprinklers

🍉 Enjoying chilled fruit snacks

🌳 Finding shady spots for stories and quiet play


Heatwave reminders:

☀️ Keep children hydrated.

☀️ Stay in the shade where possible.

☀️ Avoid outdoor play during the hottest part of the day.

☀️ Dress children in lightweight, breathable clothing and sun hats.

☀️ Apply and regularly reapply sunscreen.


Sometimes the simplest activities create the biggest smiles.
