Has anyone else got a child in a mainstream school with a 1-1 /TA that is funded by higher needs funding, if so please start asking questions now about the support in place for September. My child's TA has been made redundant due to higher needs funding ending. From what I know these redundancies will be happening across all schools, but is being kept under wraps till as close to school finishing in July as possible, in typical underhanded KCC style, giving us as parents no time to do much before summer holidays.
LIFT is also ending soon, where school can access special advise. So please start asking questions to your school.
