Come see Pudsey and his superhero friends today in Ashby! They’ll be a few of us braving the weather so it would be great to see as many of you as possible!

This week, we swapped pints for points… arrow points, that is! We headed out for an archery training session to see who’s got the sharpest aim (and who should probably stick to the pub quiz 😉).

Huge thank you to Ivanhoe Archers for hosting and showing us the ropes, or bullseyes for those who could hit them!

This week, a few of the Ashby Round Table lads spent the evening at Warren Hills Community Primary School, helping tidy up the grounds and lend a hand wherever needed. It’s always great to support local schools and give a bit of time back to the community.

Thanks to the school for letting us loose with tools: no injuries, minimal swearing, and only one argument about how to use a wheelbarrow properly… We call that a win! 😄

This week, we swapped beers for bin bags and took to the streets for a good old-fashioned litter pick! Giving back to the community doesn’t always mean big events — sometimes it just means making sure Ashby stays a little bit tidier.

We might not be superheroes, but we do look pretty good in hi-vis.

Thanks to everyone who honked and waved… it kept us going (along with the hope of a post-pick pint 🍻).

And remember: one man’s trash… is now in our bag.

🐺💪 Some of the brave (or maybe just slightly mad) members of Ashby Round Table are taking on The WOLF RUN in less than a month!

That’s 10km of mud, water, obstacles, and wild terrain — all to raise money for Ashby Foodbank (operated by Holy Trinity, Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We’re not just doing it for the challenge (though that’s part of the fun!) — we’re doing it to make a difference.

Last night, we took part in training/refresher session from Leicestershire Search and Rescue.

This is something close to all of us at Ashby Round Table at the moment, and is something that will no doubt make a difference in a life threatening situation. Big thank you to everyone that attended and I am sure we all learnt something!

Great night on Wednesday going axe throwing… we can confirm that accuracy is totally optional and most of us shouldn’t be giving up day jobs to be lumberjacks quite yet! 🪓

Fancy getting involved in an activity every other Wednesday then reach out and drop us a message.
