We’re excited to be attending Social Prescribing Day at St Oswald’s Hospital on 10th June 2026 from 10:30am – 2:00pm!

But what exactly is social prescribing? 🤔

Social prescribing is a way of connecting people with community activities, groups, and services that can improve their health, wellbeing, and quality of life. It recognises that health is about more than medical care alone and helps people access support for things like loneliness, mental wellbeing, physical activity, finances, volunteering, hobbies, and social connections.
