Ashbourne Methodist Church

Ashbourne Methodist Church Ashbourne is a family church which offers a warm welcome and a range of activities for all ages.

At the centre of all we do is our worship of God and we do this with both contemporary and traditional styles. We're in an exciting time at the moment, as work is underway for a major transformation of our church buildings. If you'd like to know more about what is planned, there's lots more information at www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk/link

We have services each week at 10.30am - for more details

on our services and other events, please see our website. www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk

Our church was founded over a hundred years ago and as time passes we change and develop – but always seeking to do what God wants. The current church was built in 1880, with school rooms beneath - now used as a residential centre. The Century Hall and Waterside Hall were added in 1900, with both in regular use by the church and local community groups. The Cornerstone, originally built in 1902, is now run as a coffee shop.

URGENT: COOL SPACE

With the red heat health alert for the East Midlands this week, we want to let you know that we have an airconditioned cool space.

The Link Centre is hosting various events, including an amazing photographic exhibition in Century Hall as part of Ashbourne Festival.

The atrium will therefore be open to the public from 11am – 5pm, Tuesday – Sunday this week, so people are welcome to come and have a bit of time in the cool.

Please share this with anyone you know who might be especially vulnerable to the heat.
