Ashbourne Methodist Church

Directions Website

Ashbourne Methodist Church Ashbourne is a family church which offers a warm welcome and a range of activities for all ages.

At the centre of all we do is our worship of God and we do this with both contemporary and traditional styles. We're in an exciting time at the moment, as work is underway for a major transformation of our church buildings. If you'd like to know more about what is planned, there's lots more information at www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk/link

We have services each week at 10.30am - for more details on our services and other events, please see our website. www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk

Our church was founded over a hundred years ago and as time passes we change and develop – but always seeking to do what God wants. The current church was built in 1880, with school rooms beneath - now used as a residential centre. The Century Hall and Waterside Hall were added in 1900, with both in regular use by the church and local community groups. The Cornerstone, originally built in 1902, is now run as a coffee shop.

You are invited to share in worship this Sunday morning at 10.30am, live from Trinity Hall at The Link Centre.

During the first part of the service we will all worship together and then there will be a choice:
~ online and in Trinity Hall, we will be focusing on Matthew chapter 22: verses 1-14 and looking at the way the invitation is rejected and then the invitation is extended and then we see the invitation needs to be accepted.
~ or you can choose to go into our Seek & Share worship space, where we will be using games & activities to think about accepting invitations.

Today is also Muddy Church, which is in woodland setting in the Marston Montgomery area. We pray for all of the children and the leaders who are thinking about thankfulness.

You are invited to share in worship this Sunday morning at 10.30am, live from Trinity Hall at The Link Centre.

Our service today will be looking at Matthew chapter 21: verses 33-46. This is sometimes titled "The Parable of the Wicked Tenants" and we'll be thinking about what it might mean for us today.

During the first part of the service we will all worship together and then there will be a choice:
~ online and in Trinity Hall, we'll explore the reading through hymns, prayers and a sermon.
~ or you can choose to go into our Seek & Share worship space, where we will use activity, conversation, reflection and prayer to explore the reading in a more participative way.
