Ashbourne Methodist Church

Ashbourne Methodist Church Ashbourne is a family church which offers a warm welcome and a range of activities for all ages.

At the centre of all we do is our worship of God and we do this with both contemporary and traditional styles. We're in an exciting time at the moment, as work is underway for a major transformation of our church buildings. If you'd like to know more about what is planned, there's lots more information at www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk/link

We have services each week at 10.30am - for more details

on our services and other events, please see our website. www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk

Our church was founded over a hundred years ago and as time passes we change and develop – but always seeking to do what God wants. The current church was built in 1880, with school rooms beneath - now used as a residential centre. The Century Hall and Waterside Hall were added in 1900, with both in regular use by the church and local community groups. The Cornerstone, originally built in 1902, is now run as a coffee shop.

You are invited to share in worship this Sunday morning at 10.30am, live from Trinity Hall at The Link Centre.

Today we are celebrating Pentecost - sometimes thought of as the birthday of the church.

During the first part of the service we will all worship together and then there will be a choice:
~ online and in Trinity Hall, we will be looking at transformation we see in Acts chapter 2: verses 1-12
~ or you can choose to go into our Seek & Share worship space, where we'll be exploring the gifts of love, joy and peace. There will be a number of creative activities at different ' spirit stations.'

For more information about our activities as we move into The Link Centre, please see https://www.ashbournemethodist.org.uk/new

*Station Road, Ashbourne, DE6 1AA. We will be entering the building via the new entrance on Station Road. After significant building work, The Link Centre will be fully open in late May. Even before it is fully open, we are able to hold our morning worship services in Trinity Hall at The Link Centre. For the first few weeks, we won't have access to all parts of the building, and we won't have all of our new equipment & furniture. So come expecting joy at being back in our building, but also expecting that things won't be perfect!
