It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌

Squirrel spaces! From September we are setting up a new Squirrel Drey on a Saturday 9:30-10:30am. Squirrels are for ages 4-6. To join the waiting list, please complete this form:

We have spaces in our Explorer Unit for people aged 14-18. They meet on a Monday evening in term time from 7-9pm. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining! We also do DofE (cheaper than school 😉) for members.

Between April 2025 and March 2026, young people doing their DofE through Scouts gave an amazing 193,804 hours of their time to help their communities.

That’s the equivalent of £1,463,131 in social value! 🙌

This weekend we have a pop up cafe at the tissington well dressings. Come and have a slice of cake or scone with homemade jam and see what a fabulous job the cubs did making their very own well dressing.
