Big news just in!

We can reveal that we having been working on a new product

🎵 Introducing the UkeCym™ Percussion Edition 🎵

After months of careful development (and extensive “field testing”), we’re excited to unveil a ground‑breaking evolution in ukulele design.

Meet the UkeCym™ – the world’s first ukulele attachment with an integrated micro‑cymbal, precision‑mounted for maximum shimmer without compromising tone.

✨ Key Features

✅ Genuine brass micro‑cymbal for authentic percussive accents
✅ Tool‑free on/off mounting system
✅ Perfectly positioned for rhythmic strums, rolls, and dramatic endings
✅ Ideal for solo performers, buskers, and uke players who “just need that extra crash”

🎶 Why choose UkeCym™? 🎶
Why carry a drummer when your ukulele can be the drummer? From gentle swells to triumphant finales, the UkeCym™ adds a subtle but unmistakable sparkle to every performance.

📦 Availability 📦
Limited first run. Accessories and replacement cymbals sold separately. Left‑ and right‑handed versions available.

Because sometimes four strings just aren’t loud enough.

So proud to have been invited back for the second time to this local Nature & Climate Festival.

It was a wonderful opportunity for my 7&8 year old students to showcase what they've been learning in their ukulele lessons these past few weeks! So brace of them to get up on stage and play in front of so many people for the very first time!

Lots of live music, tree planting, some local bee keepers, a local monkey sanctuary, plenty of plants and horticultural advice and all round general gathering of local people who care about their environment and community.

Organised by our local Parish Councillors - Emily & Derek and a fab team of helpers.

What are your must have items or top tips for attending Trade Fairs like this? Did I miss anything?

Share any tips or must bring items in the comments so we can all help each other.

This will be my first time attending the Music & Drama Education Expo in London. We will be with the stand (C50).

The and I are running an AMAZING workshop for teachers on the Thursday 12th Feb at 1.15. Can't WAIT!

My checklist is:

🥪Packed lunch - got to refuel and keep energy levels high

👠Comfy shoes - don't want to be getting blisters from being on my feet all day.

🥤Refillable water bottle - got to stay hydrated so I can sing and talk all day!

🔌Portable charger - for all the content I'll be making and to capture the exciting things happening

📒Notebook - to jot down all the new ideas and contacts I'll have made

🎸Ukuleles - I don't even need to explain this one 😍 I'll be bringing my Songbirds to show off

Would love to hear your top items and tips please share in the comments!

Thanks

Thanks for supporting The Ukulele Projects this year!

Our goal is to bring people together and make music accessible to all, so here's a quick super EASY tutorial for Auld Lang Syne that even those who got a Uke for Xmas can have a go!

Just 3 chords: C, Fadd9, G6

String names:
G (nearest to head) C E A (nearest to floor)

C Chord (3rd fret A string)

Fadd9 chord (1st fret E string)

G6 (This is the hardest chord for a beginner)
G6 chord (2nd fret put middle finger on C string, then also on 2nd fret put ring finger on A string)

Good luck!

And HAPPY NEW YEAR!

🐦A vote for the Songbird is a vote for meeee!
Flight Ukulele generously brought to life my dream of designing a slimline ukulele from the name, the colour, the wood, to the inlay designed by my husband all of it I thought through and Flight gave me this opportunity! So a vote for the Songbird is a vote supporting ME a normal regular person realising a dream!! THANK YOU!! ###
