A huge congratulations to local girl Hazel Acikgoz for winning this year's Loch Long Crab Fishing Championship. 30 kids (and quite a lot of much bigger kids!) braved the weather to take part and they all fished brilliantly. As ever a huge thank you to everyone who took part and our sponsors, The Olive Branch Arrochar who provided all the food, drinks and prizes and The CO-OP for their financial support

One of the better fisherman on Loch Long enjoying his breakfast yesterday morning. This lovely Otter was not remotely bothered by my presence. Otters are seen regularly along the Loch and have been seen sat on the jetty eating dabs. Anyway, a wonderful creature and a pleasure to see.

It's just stunning here in Arrochar right now and the weather is set fair for the next ten days. So if your planning a shake down cruise, looking for somewhere amazing to walk, fish, climb, dive, swim, cycle, kayak, paddle board or would just like to visit the national park for something to eat, then please make the most of these amazing conditions and come and see us.
