Our book club met on Saturday 6th June 2026. Tenant members reviewed our May read which was The Switch by Beth O'Leary. The consensus was that it was a "summer read". Some felt it was predictable . Our book for June is Knife Edge by Simon Mayo - a good thriller to keep us all on the edge of our seats or sunbeds. Enjoy ladies - see you at the next one.

It was a step back to Georgian times for some of our ladies on Thursday 28th May 2026.

A group of our ladies attended an evening of Georgian Female Murderers and Cultists at the National Galleries of Justice in Nottingham

It was a sell out event and for good reason. It was an informative but entertaining evening illustrating some of the horrific murders of the time. All of those attending said it was a great evening.

On Friday 15th May 2026 4 of our ladies took part in the Notts Federation Quiz. Held at Oxton Village Hall, it was another well attended and friendly event.

Our team achieved 60 points out of a possible 81 which they were pleased with. Well done ladies!

It's been a while since we've posted on here but that doesn't mean that our ladies weren't busy in May!

On Wednesday 13th May 2026 some of our ladies had a fun night at the kurling evening organised by Notts Federation.

We don't know how well they did but all agreed it was a brilliant evening. Well done ladies!
