What to Expect at Loch Ken Family Fun Day!
Get ready for a fantastic family day out packed with exciting activities, live entertainment and plenty of fun on and off the water!
Tuesday 4th August, Parton DG7 3NE (field next to Loch Ken Holiday Park)
🕚 11:00am – Event Opens
Join us as the fun begins! Explore, meet local organisations and enjoy a full day of activities.
🐶 K9 Aqua Sports Dock Diving
Watch incredible dogs launch themselves into Loch Ken in thrilling dock diving displays throughout the day! Dogs of all breeds, ages over 6 months old, and abilities encouraged to give it a go.
🛶 FREE Water Safety Adventures
Take to the water with Galloway Activity Centre on FREE rafted canoe trips, departing every 20 minutes. Learn essential water safety skills while having fun on Loch Ken.
🚨 12:30pm – Rescue Demonstrations
See the emergency services and rescue teams in action with demonstrations showcasing lifesaving skills and equipment.
🏊 1:00pm – Swim Queens Group Swim
Join in or cheer on the Swim Queens as they take to the water for a group open water swim. All welcome, please bring a tow float.

Relax and enjoy live performances:
